DANCER, CHOREOGRAPHER, PIANIST
I received my B.F.A. degree in dance performance with a concentration in choreography from Chapman University in Orange, California in 2010. Raised in the performing arts, I first discovered my love for storytelling and the thrill of entertaining an audience with narrative dance productions. Below are three selected works, which laid the foundation for my pursuit of a career in production design.
The stage design was based on the game board Clue, each room identified by a pool of light and appropriate props. Depending on which room a scene was taking place, the light was increased. In other rooms where there was no scene occurring at the time, the lights were faintly dimmed and the characters remained in a frozen gesture. The characters traveled from room to room through the “hallways.” No one ever left the stage.

Selected by professors to close the show, SALIGIA, named after the mnemonic used in Latin based on the first letters of the seven deadly sins, invited the audience to join Adam and Eve as they retell the story of their fateful journey to repentence through a dance comedy.
